Stan Davidson has been senior pastor at Church on The Rock since 1984. He followed the call of God and left Louisiana College at the age of 19 to begin full-time ministry as an evangelist. After two evangelizing stints totaling seven years and service as Associate Pastor in Ames, Iowa, God called him and his wife, Cheryl, to be pastor in Gadsden, AL.In the last 26 years, he has served the UPCI International on the General Youth Committee, Youth Evangelism Committee, Global Conquest Committee, Home Missions Evangelism Committee, and General Board. He has also served the UPCI of Alabama as a Section Youth Director, District Youth Secretary, District Youth President, Sectional Presbyter, District Secretary and currently serves as Alabama District Superintendent. Pastor Davidson has ministered in camps and conferences in several states, Canada and the Philippines. He is a regular contributer to ministerial magazines and UPCI youth projects. His published Bible study series, Sound Bible Doctrine, as well as four music projects are carried by the Pentecostal Publishing House. Pastor Davidson has been married to his wife, Cheryl, for 30 years. They have two Daughters, Bethany McGlaun (Bret) and Deanna Thomas (Michael) and are very proud grandparents. |
