Donnie and Bonnie Hensley are the heads of the Children's Department at Church on the Rock, otherwise known as KIA (Kids In Action). They also lead the Gadsden Apostolic Puppet Ministry (GAP) which performs at churches all over the state in addition to Church on the Rock. The Hensley's passion for children is embodied in the mission statement they lead KIA by: Reach, Teach, Support. Reach children who don't know the truth, Teach them to be workers in God's Kingdom and Support them as they make life changing decisions.
Brother and Sister Hensley have been involved in Children's Ministry since 1983. They have been married for 33 years and have two sons, one daughter, nine grandchildren and one dog. |
